The Prince Museum has opened its vault following the iconic musician’s death on April 21, releasing rare footage of Prince andKendrick Lamar performing together. Back in 2014, the two artists shared the stage at a private Paisley Park event celebrating the release of Prince’s albumsPlectrumelectrum and Art Official Age. K Dot joined him at the Yahoo-sponsored party to perform “What’s My Name,” a deep cut from 1998’s Crystal Ball. In newly resurfaced video of the performance, Kendrick adds his own verse at the beginning of the song before handing the reigns over to The Purple One and his all-female band. TMZ reports that the West Coast legend's mother set up a trust for Tupac's music and the executor is former Warner Bros. CEO Tom Whalley.
