The Prince Museum has opened its vault following the iconic musician’s death on April 21, releasing rare footage of Prince andKendrick Lamar performing together.
       
         Back in 2014, the two artists shared the stage at a private Paisley Park event celebrating the release of Prince’s albumsPlectrumelectrum and Art Official Age. K Dot joined him at the Yahoo-sponsored party to perform “What’s My Name,” a deep cut from 1998’s Crystal Ball. In newly resurfaced video of the performance, Kendrick adds his own verse at the beginning of the song before handing the reigns over to The Purple One and his all-female band. It’s electrifying, to say the least.

   New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap served as the latest Hip Hop artist to perform at the University Of Georgia, but according to Online Athens, as of today (May 4) the musician has not received compensation for his performance.

After the passing of Afeni Shakur, the estate of her late son Tupac is set to transition into new hands.
TMZ reports that the West Coast legend's mother set up a trust for Tupac's music and the executor is former Warner Bros. CEO Tom Whalley. The executive, who signed Tupac to Interscope in the 1990s, was already assisting Shakur in overseeing the estate.
